After house-jobs at the RVI and demonstrating at Glasgow, my German wife, Angela, took me to Germany. After doing the usual stuff there, I was allowed to run a Dept of Vascular Surgery for some 30 years. However, well before retirement in 2018, I had become involved with Timor-Leste. Angela has allowed me to go there for about a month twice a year (surgery and ultrasound) for 12 years. Three kids but only two grandkids, who fill up the rest. Because of Brexit I had to become a German and we discovered that my real name is Vincent. Otherwise hardly anything except my hairline, hair colour and BMI have changed.
