We are glad to be able to attend another reunion. Really looking forward to seeing familiar faces.
Barbara & I married in 1977 and have 2 sons. Our elder son, Jason is a professor of Mathematics at Balliol college in Oxford. The younger son, Gavin is a professor of Nuclear Astrophysics at Surrey University. No grandchildren unfortunately.
After completing my VTS in I joined a Practice in Bedford, retiring in 2010. Thereafter I worked part time for 5 years. I was involved in modernising & expanding the practice. Became Joint chair of the Bedford fundholding group, PCG & PCT director, Horizon Health Commissioning director as well as a LMC rep.
Very active with the Bedford Hockey Club – 3rd ,4th & Vets captain. Won a few trophies. Also, organised several tournaments locally. Keen badminton player, love walking & swimming. We have visited several European cities – Rome, Venice, Florence, Paris, Brussels, Prague, Berlin, Munich, Barcelona, Madrid, Malaga, Palma, Lagos etc. Since retiring we spend about 10 weeks twice a year at our house near Tampa, Florida – visiting several places in the USA / Canada.
Sadly, I have had to curtail my activities due to Complex Spine problems. I have had 5 operations thus far, now on a waiting list for 2 more!
