Wow! 50 years since starting house jobs. How the world has changed.
I set off doing the Newcastle GP training scheme and then after a year in community paediatrics in West End Newcastle became a partner in practice in Greater Manchester. Marriage to Roger a solicitor and twin boys followed.
An interesting spell in community gynaecology, GUM, and FP made life easier when the children were little and led to training and lecturing in women’s health producing some educative videos.
Back to general Practice in Windermere and later Kendal when we relocated to the Lake District for 25years. During this time an MSC in nutrition and practice in Clinical Hypnosis interested me. You could say variety has always been a motivator!
Retirement and then a move to Tyne valley 2 years ago brings me full circle back to NE. Both our sons live locally with their own families.
Grand parenting, voluntary work, dabbling in art, and birdwatching continue to enrich life.
